While I was in Toronto for Canadian Music Week I got to watch a whole weekend worth of Canadian talent, spectacular singers, songwriters and musicians. Too many to list.
One of my favourites was the indie rock band Rheostatics (Tim Vesely, Martin Tielli, Dave Clark, Dave Bidini) and I got to chat with Martin Tielli. “Claire” was a to 40 hit for a long time. Another one of my favourites was “Record Body Count” from the Melville album in 91. Super talented and sorely missed.
