Cover Time – It’s a Heartache

One of my Mom’s favourite songs was “Its a Heartache” by Bonnie Tyler. She drove Cat or Komatsu Mining Dump Trucks (bigger than rigs) at Afton Mining Company, Kamloops as a 21 year old. She was doing her best as a single Mom in the 70’s when this song came out.

We rocked out to many greats in our living room. I used to laugh my head off at her trying to sing, she had a fun Goldie Hawn dancing style & personality most days.

I probably could’ve capo’d this up a fret or two. 💓🎶☀️

“It ain’t right with love to share
When you find he doesn’t care for you
It ain’t wise to need someone
As much as I depended on you”

Who else loves this song!?

Welcome in, sugar. This is where the music’s honest, the humour’s dark, and the women are done takin’ nonsense. 💎
