I’m so amazed there is vital support, knowledge & people who want to help neurodivergents including someone like me, ADHD’r.
This was not the case when I grew up. In fact, there was such a real stigma and medication fear surrounding ADHD diagnosis, my need for support was ignored. I suffered greatly due to this on many levels and still do.
A while back I found @Kaleidoscope Society where @MargauxJoffe (Founder & so much more) provides amazing resources such ADHD professional development programs, therapist search tools & crisis contacts to us lateral thinking nuerodivergents.
I found another ADHD advocate to share, Dr. Tish Gentile @truly_tish_adhd She too provides a safe place for ADHD support, and posts informative & creative diagrams (shiny things for me) as well as important links to ADHD organizations & community.
I personally am going to go check out CHADD & ADDA.
